Allu Arjun's film Pushpa 2: The Rule, the sequel to 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise, is maintaining its momentum at the Indian and worldwide box office. It has overshadowed the first day collections of new releases on Christmas. The action drama crossed the Rs 1100 crore nett mark in the domestic market, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. Pushpa 2 collected Rs 19.75 crore net on its third Wednesday (December 25).
The total collection of the Allu Arjun starter now stands at Rs 1109.85 crore net in India. Of this, the Sukumar directorial earned Rs 716.65 crore in Hindi, Rs 316.3 crore in Telugu, Rs 55.35 crore in Tamil, Rs 7.48 crore in Kannada and Rs 14.07 crore in Malayalam.
Pushpa 2 saw an increase of 36.21% in collections on Wednesday after it saw a decline of 60% on Monday. On Day 21, the Hindi version earned Rs 15 crore, Telugu version earned Rs 4.1 crore, the Tamil version collected Rs 60,00,000, Rs 4,00,000 from the Kannada shows and fetched Rs 1,00,000 from the Malayalam version.
Talking about the worldwide collection of Pushpa 2, it is only Rs 138 crore short of dethroning Prabhas' Baahubali 2. The film has crossed the Rs 1600 crore mark as it made Rs 25.63 crore on Day 21, taking the total worldwide collection to Rs 1650.94 crore.
